How do I know if I'm pregnant?

The signs and symptoms of pregnancy can be different for everyone, but the most common symptom is a missed period. Other signs can include nausea or vomiting, tiredness/fatigue, tender breasts, frequent urination, and changes in appetite. If you think you might be pregnant, schedule a free pregnancy test appointment with us, where we will provide you with a free lab-certified pregnancy test and a safe place to talk about and consider your pregnancy options.

I think I'm pregnant, what are my options?
  • Parenting: At Options Health, we offer education, emotional support, and material resources to expectant mothers and their partners through the toddler years of their baby’s life.
  • Adoption:  If you think adoption might be right for you, we can connect you with an agency in your area. You have many choices when making an adoption plan and we can help you understand your options.
  • Abortion: Depending on how far along you are, different types of abortions may be available to you. What type will you have? What are the risks? You deserve to know the facts. We can help you understand all of your options and prepare you with the knowledge you need to make the decision that’s best for you.
Why do I need an ultrasound?

An ultrasound is used to date and confirm the viability of a pregnancy. If you are considering an abortion, based on the results of your ultrasound, you may not even need one. For example, if the fetus is not viable, you may experience a miscarriage. Or, if you have an ectopic pregnancy, you may require a different medical procedure.  If you are considering abortion, you will need an official pregnancy verification and dating of your pregnancy before getting an abortion. Contact us today to schedule your ultrasound appointment.

How much does an abortion cost?

In the Bay Area, the cost of abortion ranges from $0 – $2,500, depending on your insurance, the clinic, and the provider you select. Options Health is able to provide you with a free ultrasound that will help to date and confirm the viability of your pregnancy.
