Pregnant? What Are Your Options?

June 21, 2022

There are times in life that do not always go as planned. An unexpected pregnancy can leave you feeling overwhelmed, scared, confused, and alone. In the United States, it is estimated that 50% of all pregnancies are unplanned, so if you find yourself unexpectedly pregnant, you are not alone.

You may be thinking, “This can’t be happening!”  You have questions like:

  • Who do I turn to for help as I decide what to do next?
  • Who do I need to tell about this and how?
  • How far along am I in my pregnancy?
  • What can I do about people pressuring me with their opinions?
  • What are my REAL options?

Sometimes you just need someone to talk with, someone who will listen and help you evaluate all your pregnancy options.  At Options Health, we want to take the time to get to know you and understand your unique situation.  We know that each unexpected pregnancy is different, and we want to help you leave our clinic feeling educated about all of your options.

Our services are free and confidential and offered to you at no obligation. During an options consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to talk with one of our caring patient advocates about what abortion, adoption, or parenting might look like for you.

We are here to support you on your journey, whatever option you choose.

Abortion.  Abortion is a procedure that can be surgical or non-surgical, and there are several different types of each, with each varying in cost and potential complications. The type of abortion available to you depends in part on how far your pregnancy has progressed, and the best way to verify this is an ultrasound. While we do not refer for or perform abortions in our center, we do offer limited obstetrical ultrasounds at no cost. To schedule an ultrasound or discuss this option further, please contact us today.

Adoption.  If you are unexpectedly pregnant, abortion is not your only option.  Adoption is an honorable choice women make when they cannot, or choose not to, parent but do not want to end their pregnancy.  We can provide information on the process of adoption, and we can connect you to several different adoption agencies.  We are not affiliated with any specific adoption agency, and we won’t profit from any choice you make.  For more information on adoption, please contact us today.

Parenting.  Options Health offers education, emotional support, and material resources to individuals in unplanned and unsupported pregnancies who choose to parent their child or children.  We do this through our free parenting program called Earn While You LearnClick here to learn more about this program and how you can get enrolled today.  If you are pregnant and considering parenting as an option please contact us today to make an appointment for your options consultation.  Guys, we didn’t forget about you! Fathers in Training, created to parallel our Earn While You Learn program for mothers, is a free program that will challenge you to be the best father you can be by walking alongside you through our skill-building classes and mentorship.
